Like you, we have been eagerly awaiting the start of work on Memorial Field.  The school district announced last week that it has awarded the field project to DeRosa Contractors and G9 Turf Inc. We are excited to report that demolition services have been donated by the Naclerio family and Greenline Industries and will begin shortly; site work is expected to begin in early August.

Delays in the complex bid process required by the State Education Department have pushed the field completion date into October. But the athletic department has been diligently working with local municipalities and other school districts to minimize disruption to the fall sports season.  We all can't wait for the field to be done and for kids to be playing on it. In the meantime, we hope you share our excitement that this critical renovation project — more than a decade in the making — is finally breaking ground.
