Our Mission
Fields for Kids is dedicated to advocating and fundraising for the development of high-quality recreational sports spaces within Larchmont and Mamaroneck.
Our community volunteers collaborate closely with municipal leaders to maximize the utilization of all available assets.
The projects we support are designed to facilitate greater access to an active lifestyle for residents of all ages, funded by public and private sources.
CURRENT ACTIVITY
MARCH 2024
TOWN CENTER new, multi-sport turf field approved for renovation by Mamaroneck School District. Fundraising is in progress! Thank you to the Mamaroneck Youth Football League for the donation match during our fundraising kick-off weekend. Targeting construction for summer 2024, pending fundraising.
ALMA FIELD renovation plans are approved and fundraising in progress. FFK is partnering with Flint Park Conservancy and Village of Larchmont on this project which is targeted for construction in summer 2024.

Thank You to the Community
500+ families along with our generous local business came together to deliver a remarkable new play space in record time at Hommocks Middle School.
The 1200+ students will now have the opportunity to have an incredible new recess and after school experience.
Residents of all ages can also enjoy these amenities outside of school hours!

UPCOMING projects
Town Center, AlMA & HoMMOCKS renovations

Town Center
A heavily used grass field will be transformed into a multi-use turf field to create a better practice space for school teams and youth leagues.

Alma Field at Flint Park
Turf field will be extended to regulation size, which can be split into two smaller fields to increase usage. Additional enhancements will benefit athletes and spectators.

Hommocks Field
Improved fields with new amenities in development to maximize usage for athletes, families and Town of Mamaroneck recreation activities.
